“It’s vital for small businesses to offer content that is easy to digest; if not, consumers will simply move on. Video does this very well.” (The Guardian)
From small cafes, shops, estate agents, hairdresser’s and pretty much any industry you can think of, more and more businesses are utilising the power of video to promote their services online and gain more customers. And rightly so. Google absolutely loves video.
“Your Website Is 50 Times More Likely To Appear On The First Page Of A Search Engine Results Page If It Includes Video”. (Sarah Mincher)
Consumers are increasingly more selective about where they chose to shop and online video is the ideal way to make your business stand out from the crowd. In fact, recently it was estimated that:
“80% Of Your Online Visitors Will Watch A Video, While Only 20% Will Actually Read Content In Its Entirety.” (Sarah Mincher)
Ironic perhaps that I am choosing to write about this subject. But if you are a business owner not currently convinced by video then I’ve got to get a bit old school first!

I am. In fact I’ve got years of experience creating videos for small businesses right through to global brands such as Coca-Cola, Diageo and Breitling. Whether it’s a how to video for a cooking appliance, highlights of a glamorous event, testimonials or even just a video to show off how wonderful your staff are, I can produce something that is guaranteed to attract more clients.
Some of the most effective videos also utilise a live event & social media strategy to maximise their reach. This is called Experiential Marketing and is possibly the single best way to forge a long-term relationship with your clients.
For example, perhaps you run a little cake shop. You want to attract more people to your business, showcase your wonderful baking creations and increase your website/social media traffic. How?
What about:
Or how about:
There are so many possibilities I could go on for ages! The great thing about the examples above is that they actively encourage people to interact with your social media channels across a variety of devices. That’s free advertising! Suddenly, you’re not just a cake shop, you’re the cake shop and all the competition looks boring by comparison.

“OK, this sounds amazing but isn’t video production really expensive?”
Well, actually no. Video has never been more affordable. Furthermore, if you consider that “website visitors are 64% more likely to buy a product on an online retail site after watching a video” (Sarah Mincher) then more often than not a video can pay for itself many times over!
I can tailor a video around all budgets and would love to create something special for your business.
